How long have you been a funeral arranger?
I have been fortunate enough to have been in the funeral industry for the last 13 years. Prior to this, I was in the retail industry for 27 years.

I was drawn to a role in funerals after attending services for family and friends. I was in awe of the funeral directors at these services, watching them help the grieving families say goodbye to their loved one.

I realised this was my calling.

What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I find lots of fulfilment out of providing guidance in peoples time of need. I take away some of their stress by listening and understanding their needs to provide a beautiful celebration of life for their loved ones.

I am proud to lead a team who take pride and are respectful and caring to all families whom we have the honour to serve.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love spending time with my family and friends, especially out fishing on our boat.

I am a proud South Sydney Rabbitoh fan.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I have 4 cats who are all rescues cats. Our cat has since had kittens and they bring great joy to our family.

What charities does Guardian Funerals Blacktown support?
We support many charities, with our largest event for the Biggest Morning Tea for the Cancer Council. We hold a morning tea in our Chapel with 200 attendees, lucky door prizes and a holiday as our major prize.

They were courteous, gentle, professional and kind when I needed them most. They provided a beautiful service for my mum. I want to thank them for doing so.
