Meet Melanie
What made you want to become a funeral director?
A desire to help people -being given the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives through the act of assisting them with an important farewell.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I love helping a family during a time of immense pain and grief - having an impact in being able to help, support and attempt to ease some of the burden with empathy and kindness .
What do you like about your local area?
I enjoy the multicultural aspect - learning and being involved with so many different cultures. The community is so diverse and happy to share their traditions with us. They understand that we are here to help them and are happy to educate us on what we can do to support them, which I really appreciate.
What are your passions/hobbies outside of work?
I teach dance classes (hip hop), time with my beautiful family, friends and puppies and reading as many books as time allows!
What makes your brand special?
The immense dedication of care and respect we all give to the deceased and the compassion for their grieving families.
